Bizarre spaceship-like crop circle appears in Wiltshire
Via Message to Eagle, 16 July 2013 - A new strange crop circle has appeared in Avebury Trusloe, Wiltshire, UK. The crop circle has a very complex pattern and it's unusual shape is somewhat of a puzzle.
The crop circle was discovered in July, 2013. Wiltshire is famous for its crop circles and much mystery still remains as to why they occur and the meanings behind their complex formations.

Crop circles in Wiltshire often occur around the heart of the county in and around Avebury, usually first appearing in April and continuing into the summer months.
What is the true meaning behind this particular crop circle? In a way it resembles a spaceship, but it can also another unknown object.
There is no doubt that many crop circles can be dismissed as hoaxes, but there are still those that cannot be explained away so easily.
Crop circles often have remarkably complex designs, and this fact has made ordinary people as well as scientist question whether all of them can really be dismissed as hoaxes.
Greg Jefferys, an Australian PhD student at the University of Tasmania in Hobart, has examined several old crop circles using Google Earth's new historical imagery.
The English patterns he studied are from 1945 and earlier and Jefferys believes it is wrong to dismiss them as fakes.
"This discovery proves that claims by various artists to be the sole creators of crop circles are themselves a hoax," Jefferys said.
"It just goes to show that the circles remain unexplained."
"I hope this discovery will stimulate renewed interest in crop circles by serious scientific researchers who have been fooled by the hoax claims."
According to Jefferys it is high-frequency electromagnetic radiation that is responsible for the formation of these strange shapes.
"What is not clear is what generates that energy and organises it into circular patterns," Jefferys told the paper. "This is one of the questions I hope to answer, at least partially."
Freddy Silva, an expert on crop circles and author of Secrets in the Fields: The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles says that "crop circles are organized harmonic forms of energy comprised of light, sound and magnetism which physically manifest as geometric patterns when they interact with our physical world. To date, 10,000 crop circles have been reported in 29 countries, and have appeared in mediums such as wheat, barley, canola, trees, ice, rice paddies, even linseed.
The first crop circle appeared in United Kingdom as early as 1647, In 1970's there was a reoccurrence in numbers and there was a massive increase in 1990's.
There are several theories who or what creates the crop circles. According to some formation theories crop circles are a result of whirlwind or plasma vortex, microwave transient heating, ufos, spirit of the Earth and hoaxers.
Nevertheless, there is no single theory that can fully explain the appearance of some of the most complex crop circles. More data and research methods should be provided and all possibilities should be exhausted before making conclusions.
