Ex-Pope Benedict says God inspired him to resign, just as a cardinal said God inspired the conclave to choose Francis

An earlier-posted article said supernatural "signs" inspired the selection of Pope Francis:

Now, Pope Emeritus Benedict has said that God told him to resign via the inspiration of a mystical experience:

Thus it would appear that a Divine Hand was involved in both ends of the transition from Benedict to Francis. Many have felt that the papacy of Francis has brought a breath of much needed change to the Church. Perhaps the time has come when the intervention of a Higher Authority in human affairs will become more overt.
