(Lucas : Even Obama in his yesterday question hour and talk about the shutdown was pitiful. The want us to fear the shutdown and we need this and that and they even do these idiot things but bottom line : if you still not get the default of the corporate USA has to take place as all old financial systems need to come done to make place for a human based self-governance model that will not be based on money and value know as such. We will prosper again and have abundance and all things you ever wanted to learn, do or try are possible. There are no limits.)
(NaturalNews) The punitive nature of the Obama regime’s actions in closing down taxpayer-funded monuments and parks continues to get out of hand, as this report demonstrates.
Some of the nation’s “Greatest Generation” were already humiliated and abused by federal Park Rangers at the World War II Monument in Washington, D.C., early in the current government shutdown, as the White House-directed closures of the people’s property expanded to include keeping the nation’s great war veterans from seeing the open-air site built exclusively to honor them.
Now, in Yellowstone National Park, more Gestapo-like tactics by the Park Service against senior citizens has taken place.
Scaring the foreign tourists who ‘thought they were under arrest’
As recently reported by the Newberry Port Daily News:
Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.
Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country.
Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.
And in front of guests to our nation from other countries. Pathetic. Now, tell me this is what the founding fathers envisioned America to be, 240 years after they fought and died to create this grand experiment in self-governance.
According to the report, witnesses said tourists were treated very harshly by the armed park employees. In fact, sadly, some of the foreign tourists with only a limited knowledge of the English language believed they were being arrested, Vaillancourt said.
When the tourists were finally permitted to leave, the bus they rode on was not allowed to stop at all along the 2.5-hour trip out of the park, even to stop at private bathrooms that were open along the way.
“We’ve become a country of fear, guns and control,” said Vaillancourt. “It was like they brought out the armed forces. Nobody was saying, ‘we’re sorry,’ it was all like – ” as she clenched her fist and banged it against her forearm.
At one point on the way out of the park, she said, the bus stopped along the road when a large herd of bison were passing nearby. At that, tourists filed out of the bus to snap pictures, but “almost immediately,” the paper reported, “an armed ranger came by and ordered them to get back in, saying they couldn’t ‘recreate.’ The tour guide, who had paid a $300 fee the day before to bring the group into the park, argued that the seniors weren’t ‘recreating,’ just taking photos.”
“She responded and said, ‘Sir, you are recreating,’ and her tone became very aggressive,” Vaillancourt said.
At that, the senior citizens who had been bullied quickly got back on the bus, which took them to the Old Faithful Inn near the park’s most famous site, the Old Faithful geyser. But that was as close as they could get; park Nazis had already erected barricades around it. What’s more, seniors were locked inside the hotel, where armed rangers stood outside near the door.
“They looked like Hulk Hogans, armed. They told us you can’t go outside,” she said. “Some of the Asians who were on the tour said, ‘Oh my God, are we under arrest?’ They felt like they were criminals.”
Still think those federal rangers and agents are on your side?
For those of you who might be under the illusion that federal “gestapo” agents and officers won’t blindly and obediently follow their ruling class masters in D.C., take heed: This is a prime example demonstrating that you are mistaken. They will follow orders because, after all, it is the ruling masters who pay them (with your tax dollars, of course). Their livelihood depends on blind obedience.
This egregious, outrageous case is quickly becoming the norm, as the government’s ruling class uses the premise of this “partial shutdown” to tighten its grip around the necks of citizens.
Interviewed by a local paper, tour guide Gordon Hodgson compared the rangers’ tactics to Hitler’s Gestapo.
“The national parks belong to the people,” he told the Livingston Enterprise. “This isn’t right.”
