Yes. If NEW TRN (20% gold backed) is Not Activated,Chinese Yuan or Even Russian Ruble which are Already Gold/Asset Backed Currencies Can do.
Heard that Chinese Central Bank is Now Holding Over 4,500 Tons of Gold Bullion. Russia, although its currency is Artificially manipulated to a very low level,the country is accumulating its bullion holdings at a very fast rate.
