Legalizing Cannabis May Ignite a New Spiritual Revolution

Despite being used by humans for centuries, cannabis has been prohibited in many parts of the world since a corporate agenda was enacted in the 1930’s to criminalize cannabis for reasons of: racism, fear, protection of corporate profits, yellow journalism and corrupt legislation.
More recently, marijuana is rapidly becoming re-legalized worldwide since Uruguay became the first nation to legalize cannabis trade in late 2013. Four US States now offer legal cannabis for recreational use, and that number will only grow since the U.S. federal government has shown that it will not interfere with states that choose to legalize marijuana. This rapid legalization of cannabis for recreational use will introduce a need for worldwide spiritual guidance.

The effects of marijuana on human consciousness are insightful in nature. Many first time users of the plant will experience effects such as: vivid C.E.V.’s or Closed Eye Visuals, dramatically increased imaginative capabilities, a deeper appreciation for art and music and a sense of unity with nature.
Previously unknown, these effects shock and astound the novice cannabis user who has for the first time connected to something more than him or herself. Festivals are appearing worldwide to celebrate and share in the cannabis revolution, and many of the people attending them are interested in cannabis for it’s spiritually enlightening effect.
A spiritually intellectual culture is quietly forming with a shared interest in the collective evolution of the human species, and these few initiates have a focus on cultivating a culture based on art appreciation, truth seeking, and spiritual development. As cannabis is legalized in more places, it’s prevalence in local cultures will be a shockwave that reinstalls an appreciation for art and nature into citizens of legalized areas.

The simplest forms of life, such as the sea squirt, and humans share similarities in the way that their nervous systems operate. Cannabinoid receptors were first evolved in the sea squirt, and other beings evolved this over time, including humans.
Possessing cannabinoid receptors, undeniably humans are wired in a way that makes their nervous system and cannabis interact. As more people start to try cannabis they will realize that it has been stigmatized by malicious political entities and come to the truth about what’s happening to our planet with our ignorance as a species. Cannabis can be used as a catalyst to ignite a passion in humanity for adaption to these dire circumstances.
Today’s psychedelic plants, like cannabis, are more widely used than even during the spiritual revolution of the 1960’s-70’s. Many naturally occurring psychedelic plants remain illegal despite their increased popularity and positive mental health effects.
As more people vouch for the psychedelic experience and what it has done for them it is possible that a spiritual revolution may occur. By collectively recognizing these plant’s psychedelic abilities to reveal many spiritual aspects of life, it is possible that a new movement to unify mankind and restore balance with nature will begin to take shape.
