When Dusja the kitten went looking for food and shelter in St. Petersburg Leningradsky Zoo, she wasn’t expecting to find her future BFF.
 
When Dusja the kitten wandered into the lynx habitat at the zoo, she met Linda the lynx.

The two became fast friends, unaware that they weren’t supposed to belong together.

The staff at the zoo decided to let Dusja (which means “Darling”) stay with her buddy, and the twosome snuggled into their habitat.

They grew up rather quickly, as kittens are known to do.

And even as adults the pair has remained inseparable.

The size difference is really apparent now that they’re fully grown, but they don’t seem to notice.

They’re BFFs despite their differences.
