I used to watch a show (I forget the name) having to do with investigation of paranormal activities in haunted houses. These things call up my curiousity but deep down I do not appreciate being scared or startled in any way. Definately not a horror movie buff even if they are ficticious.

me too! I used to love those flicks but I just can't stand to watch the movies any longer.

anyone here have an encounter with the paranormal?

I have had several in my life. I never was scared by those events either. Made me realize many things and how we are told to not be aware and how we are indoctrinated from birth to be scared.

Probably the *thought* scares me more than if it actually happened. Yup, please do not show up, scary thought!
On the other hand I do have extremely vivid dreams. Last year I had to have my beautiful 15 year old cat ''Coquette'' put down. One nite I got up to go to the bathroom and when I got back into my bed (I was half-awake/asleep) I saw her in my room circling around the bed. I called her up to me and she came - I patted her head and I could hear her purring. I totally enjoyed that moment w/her. Bytheway she looked exactly like the signature gif. I miss her so much.

aww... that is so awesome!

I also had an all white cat pass that I had over 10 years last October. She used to wrap her legs around my left arm to sleep, only the left, and I still feel that since she passed.

Are those eyes blue? I adore felines/cats. I feel they are wise. http://coquette.pets-memories.com/ she was very smart and I would certainly not put it past her that the *dream* was actually her way of coming back to comfort me. Definately NOT scary at all! Blessings come through our furry friends.
