Language is powerful. In fact, it is more powerful than the majority of people think. With the Law of Attraction, we attract what we are thinking about. Therefore, when we speak, our words generate thoughts that bring our reality into focus.
So many people are unaware that the choices that they make with their words are the exact reason why they have so many things in their lives that they dislike. Fortunately, changing one’s language is something that anyone can do quickly to start using the Law of Attraction more effectively.
This is why saying “don’t look!” usually gets an immediate head turn to see what you’re talking about. When we say “don’t do” something, we offer our attention to the subject we are speaking about, and therefore we manifest exactly what we “don’t” want.
Instead, always be looking for ways to rephrase your don’ts, nots and nos. Instead of “don’t jump on the couch!” say “please sit down.” Instead of “no, I don’t want to go to the movies,” say “actually, I would rather go out to dinner.”
Make a habit of reducing the words don’t, not and no from your vocabulary. It will have a much more profound effect on your life than you probably think it will.

So if you’d like to start attracting more of what you want into your life with the Law of Attraction, remember that language is powerful, and do your best to evaluate your language choices. Reduce the words don’t, not and no, avoid complaining as much as you can, point out the things that are going well and make a habit of saying “thank you.”
These four adjustments to our language habits will bring more prosperity, happiness and health into our lives, and they are relatively easy adjustments to make.

4 Ways to Change Your Words, Change Your Life
1. STOP saying the words don’t, not and no:
According to Michael Losier, Law of Attraction specialist, these words immediately put us into the vibration of attracting unwanted things into our lives. This is why saying “don’t look!” usually gets an immediate head turn to see what you’re talking about. When we say “don’t do” something, we offer our attention to the subject we are speaking about, and therefore we manifest exactly what we “don’t” want.

Make a habit of reducing the words don’t, not and no from your vocabulary. It will have a much more profound effect on your life than you probably think it will.
2. STOP complaining:
Complaining is a wonderful way to keep making unwanted things come to you. Again, what we focus on, we attract. The more that we complain that we are sick, broke and tired, the more sick, broke and tired we become. For more on why it is so hard for so many of us to stop complaining, check out this article.3. START talking about the good stuff:
Point out the things that are going well in your life. Is the weather nice today? Good, tell everyone you run into today. Are you having a good day? Good, make that your daily post on your Facebook wall. Get in the habit of rejoicing over the things that are going well, and you will start to attract more things that go well.4. Give thanks verbally:
Gratitude is also a very powerful way to bring more things to you that you want. Get into the habit of saying “thank you” for every little kind gesture that comes your way. Whether someone simply opens the door for you or they bring you the most extravagant gift, saying “thank you” and acknowledging the kindness that others extend to you is a great way to attract more kindness into your life. For more good reasons to give thanks, check out this article here.
