The article is basically saying not only is Maliki willing fully implement all the previous agreements - he'll tender a resignation letter as a "guarantee" that he will do everything he says he is agreeing to. It's awesome!! :) Thanks Careful!
I told you guys - Maliki is scared senseless over being called in front of Parliament - he knows there is no way he'll survive it (politically).

Sadr: Maliki resignation on tap? NA: Criminal charges pending?
Don’t get your hopes up to high, but this looks like Maliki will resign if they give him immunity. Al Sdar just came back from Iran and his stance has not changed… The National Alliance today said that they had a file on Maliki but the timing wasn’t right yet to release it because Maliki still controlled the courts. A little pressure on Maliki to resign as I see it. Because when they question him and remove him they can open the file and then have him arrested and tried for crimes against Iraq. ~ Street

Wow, PUTTING PRESSURE ON MALIKI to resign,, I find this very interesting that the National Alliance, Maliki’s party is acknowledging criminal charges…and I believe that they are saying once he is removed and the Democracy (GOI) is set they are going to bring criminal charges again him..as he will no longer control the courts….. So if was him I would resign and take the immunity and run out of the country as fast as I can and I’m betting that is why they are putting it out in the news. ~ Street
