Crystals and gemstones are absolutely exploding with popularity at this time on the planet.  This is not a surprising trend for several reasons.  For one thing, crystals are part of the body of mother earth.  By certain Native American tribes, crystals were called the bones of the earth.  Indeed, as a part of pachamama's body, crystals carry her intelligence and core vibration as expressed in a rainbow of colors and specific frequencies.  The other reason this is unsurprising is that crystals, as their name implies, are a crystallized form of matter that are and represent a highly purified and concentrated crystallization of ideas and vibrations into the physical plane.  Therefore crystals are representations of and allies in helping us as humans anchor our crystallized human nature into our conscious reality.
As more and more people delve into the world of crystals, it is useful to have sources of clear and simple information to get you started and on the path of crystal work, as they can be some of the most powerful and healing companions to join you on your journey.  If you can embrace some basic understandings about crystals, who they are, how they work, and fundamental ways for working with them in your everyday life you will soon be coming up with you own creative solutions to life's challenges and finding innovative ways to incorporate crystals in your solutions.
