Anti-G7 Protests Ahead of Summit in Germany LIVE UPDATES

“Russia Today” is providing live updates on the pre-G7 Summit protests in Bavaria. It will be interesting. I applaud the people of Germany for getting out there and letting the world leaders know that The People WILL be heard.

What began on June 4 as peaceful protests has already turned sour with clashes between protesters and police.
It still boggles my mind that the citizens of so many countries are actively protesting in their cities against intolerable austerity and bankster theft—but not in the USA—the main cabal stronghold; possibly in part because their corrupt corporate media won’t show them most if any of this activity by their brothers and sisters.
The current system on this planet is unsustainable and is at the bifurcation point. The wheels are falling off the world and revolution is imminent—and it won’t be long until it is visible to everyone—even in the USA.
We’ve had a false flag warning for the G7 already, so anything could happen at this point. Agent provocateurs are probably in the wings, waiting for their signal to turn a peaceful protest violent. Let us intend that peace reigns.
The cabal is treading on thin ice now, their grip on reality is tenuous, to say the least and the patience of our galactic guardians wears thin. We will see what unfolds in Bavaria this week.  ~ BP

15:17 GMT:
Police in Garmisch-Partenkirchen have told RT’s Peter Oliver that protesters used pepper spray against them. One officer had to receive medical treatment. At least one protester was seen carried away on a stretcher as well.
15:01 GMT
Police have used tear gas against anti-G7 protesters in the Bavarian town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. At least one man was seen being detained, and several others were taken away by ambulances.
Police currently estimates the crowd at 2,000, and organizers say the number is twice as high.
14:09 GMT:
Around 17,000 police have been deployed near the summit location, and 2,000 Austrian security forces supported them at the nearby border.
13:19 GMT:
The protesters carried banners which read “Fight G7 for Revolution” and “G7 go to hell! I like Putin”, and gathered near the railway station at the foot of Germany’s highest peak.

Protests against the G7 summit are growing in southern Germany with thousands expected to rally throughout Saturday against the gathering of seven world leaders in a luxury Bavarian hotel.

One officer had to receive medical treatment. At least one protester was seen carried away on a stretcher as well.







Some demonstrators chanted slogans damning police violence, some brandished signs with anti-war statements, while others rallied against a proposed transatlantic trade deal.
Despite the reports of violence, most described the mood as otherwise festive, with members of protest group “Stop G7 Elmau” talking of participants in costume, playing music and dancing at the “cheerful” protest.
A tent city set up by demonstrators even attracted curious locals.
On Thursday there were rallies held in the Bavarian capital of Munich, focusing on the environment and globalization.
A court ruling earlier in the week to allow 50 protesters inside the security zone so that world leaders could hear their message did little to satisfy protesters’ spokesman Simon Ernst.
This weekend’s meeting will be the second without Russia, which was expelled from the G8 over its annexation of the Crimean peninsula last year.
One of the main topics of discussion is expected to be the crisis in Ukraine, with the recent uptick in fighting along the border worrying the international community. “We’re seeing the beginning of a Cold War now with both sides rattling their sabres,” said Rainer Lipfert, wearing a t-shirt with the words “Putin sympathizer.”
Leaders are also expected to discuss topics such as climate change, women’s rights and alleviating world poverty, as well Greece’s debt crisis.
On Monday they will meet with officials from Iraq, Tunisia and Nigeria, over the fight against terror groups Islamic State and Boko Haram.
The massive protest is just one of many mobilizations, including alternative summits and direct actions, in the lead-up to the gathering of global elites, which will take place June 7 and 8.
Government representatives of Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States will formally take part.
Russia’s Vladimir Putin won’t be on the guest list when President Barack Obama and other world leaders assemble in Germany next week, as part of the punishment for alleged Kremlin-supported aggression in Ukraine.

Russia is not building up its offensive military capabilities overseas and is only responding to security threats caused by US and NATO military expansion on its borders, Russian President Vladimir Putin told Italian outlet Il Corriere della Sera.
Speaking to the paper on the eve of his visit to Italy, Putin stressed that one should not take the ongoing “Russian aggression” scaremongering in the West seriously, as a global military conflict is unimaginable in the modern world.
“I think that only an insane person and only in a dream can imagine that Russia would suddenly attack NATO. I think some countries are simply taking advantage of people’s fears with regard to Russia. They just want to play the role of front-line countries that should receive some supplementary military, economic, financial or some other aid,” Putin said.
America has been setting up “anti-missile systems, bases and radars located in the European territory or in the sea,” despite Russia’s repeated warnings that this undermines international security.
