Something is going to happen on June 30th that hasn’t happened in over 2,000 years

 


Jupiter and Venus will merge into a dazzling ”super-star” in the Western horizon by the end of June, NASA says.
The conjunction of the two planets has been building during the month of June and will culminate in a spectacular display on June 30. “Every night in June, the separation between Venus and Jupiter will visibly shrink,” says NASA.
A conjunction is when two or more objects appear very close together on the sky.
On the evening of June 30, Venus and Jupiter will appear in the sky just a third of a degree apart. “That’s less than the diameter of a full Moon. You’ll be able to hide the pair not just behind the palm of your outstretched hand, but behind your little pinky finger,” NASA enthuses.
Sky & Telescope suggests that a similar rare conjunction of Venus and Jupiter may have been what’s been called the ”Star of Bethlehem” in 3-2 BC. 
While the conjunction is certainly visible with the naked eye, Sky and Telescope says viewing it with a telescope or binoculars will offer a different perspective: “Both planets will crowd into same telescopic field of view, Venus appearing as a fat crescent and round Jupiter accompanied by its four large moons. The two planets will appear nearly as the same size, but Jupiter, though much larger in reality, is much farther away…. Their globes will contrast dramatically in brightness, with Venus’s crescent appearing dazzling white compared to Jupiter’s duller, striped cloud deck.”
Pat Hartigan, an astronomer at Rice University, says the conjunction on June 30 is the best one we will have for over a decade, rivaled only by one on March 1, 2023, which will not be not quite as close.
So where and when should we look for it? Look to the west-northwest as soon as it gets dark, says Dr. Hartigan. ”After about two hours for most latitudes the objects will become difficult to observe as they begin to set. They are bright. You might mistake them for airplanes.”
Is this a significant astronomical event? Not really. ”These planetary groupings in the sky have no effect on Earth or human affairs – except for one,” says Alan MacRobert at Sky & Telescope. ”They can lift our attention away from our own little world into the enormous things beyond. That’s what amateur astronomers do all the time.”

After 2000 years the Star of Bethlehem graces the night sky again on June 30, 2015

Get ready for the most exciting sky event of 2015! After an absence of roughly 2000 years "The Star of Bethlehem" graces the evening sky again from June 27th through July 4th.

Venus and Jupiter are the brightest celestial objects after the Sun and Moon. The two planets spend eight evenings within 2° of each other from June 27th through July 4th. The closest visible conjunction of Venus and Jupiter is on June 30, 2015.

Astronomers refer to a close celestial pair-up like this as a conjunction. "Planetary conjunctions have no effect on Earth or human affairs," notes Sky and Telescope Senior Editor Alan MacRobert, "except for one: they can lift our attention away from our own little world into the enormous things beyond. A spectacular conjunction like this often gets people started in the hobby. Once you start, there's no end to how far you can go."

What Was The Star of Bethlehem?

Many Christians see the star as a miraculous sign to mark the birth of the Christ (or messiah). Some theologians claimed that the star fulfilled a prophecy, known as the Star Prophecy. Astronomers have made several attempts to link the star to unusual astronomical events, such as a conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, a comet or a supernova.

The truth is, we don't know the answer, and in fact, no one else does either, in spite of what you might hear.

If there was a clear-cut answer to this question, everyone would already know the answer and wouldn't have to ask.

Some scholars say that the Star of Bethlehem must have been a supernatural event, not a natural occurrence of astronomy.

Indeed, perhaps this is a mystery that modern science can never truly unravel.

As the prophetic signs pointing to the soon return of Christ and the incredibly fluid state of world affairs appears to be converging in climactic fashion to bring about the end of this age as we know it, I have been humbled and moved with a sense of urgency, like a Watchman on the wall, to share recent discoveries about the current and pending appearances of two of God’s heavenly signs and what they might mean today for Israel and America in God’s end time plan. While many in the Bible prophecy world are aware of the appearance of a tetrad of lunar eclipses falling on the 2014-15 Jewish feasts of Passover and Tabernacles, few have any idea of what significance, if any, this tetrad of eclipses might mean for Israel. This in part is because many, if not most, prophecy experts regard these stellar appearances as mere coincidence, especially since heavenly signs appear to have little basis in scripture to connect them with end time prophecy. Even fewer people are aware that a remarkably rare reappearance of the Christmas or Messiah’s star will take place on the evening of 30 June 2015 during what appears to be a critical point in America’s march towards its end-time destiny. The difference in the attitude of our nation and its leaders then and now is striking. Today, as is clearly revealed in Appendix I, America has fallen to the point where “the wound cannot be healed”. Over the past few decades it has elected the leaders it deserves; leaders who today shake their fists at God in defiance. Now America faces God’s wrath. The pending sign of the Messiah’s star has clearly become a
sign of warning and if events in the timeline above for the 2014-15 Tetrad come to pass, America will indeed become greatly diminished and will cease to play a significant role in the remainder of God’s Plan for the Ages. We are truly living on borrowed time.

If you have doubts about what the star might mean or if the Messiah’s star is even real, consider taking the time to confirm for yourself this upcoming incredible revelation of God’s glory. Venus has been appearing as the evening star in the western sky around the world since this past January. By mid June, Venus and Jupiter will be clearly visible shortly after sunset as they begin to merge in the Constellation Leo (Lion of the Tribe of Judah). Pay particular attention to the brightness of the individual planets a few days before the conjunction (pick the same time each evening to observe them – for example, 9:00 PM). That way you will be able to see the significant change in the star’s appearance and brightness when it becomes the Messiah’s star on the evening of June 30th. Incredibly, the conjunction reaches its closest point of approach between the planets by about 6 PM in the Eastern U.S. and it will remain in conjunction for about 10 hours. Thus, the 2015 Christmas star will be visible for a little more than 2 hours (from 8-10:30 PM) across the entire Western Hemisphere (from Bermuda to Hawaii). Two thousand years ago it was visible across the entire Old World (from China to Western Europe) and Israel, for about three hours. It should be obvious from the locations of these two appearances…that the 2015 appearance of the Messiah’s star is God’s heavenly sign of warning for America, because just like Israel when Jesus Christ came the first time, America has turned its back on the very God who made us great and showered us with blessings. Today, America has rejected God.
