Crimson Pipeline LLC. had a 10-inch pipe buried underground which burst this week along the California coastline. An estimated 29,000 gallons of crude oil spilt. In the last decade, Crimson Pipeline, LLC. has had 10-spills. In this instance, the oil missed leaking into the ocean, but will have devastating consequences on the surrounding environment in Ventura County. The responsible company has been fined several times by the EPA which has done little to stop events like these from occurring and continues to allow the company to remain in operation.
