Erich gives alternate views on ancient history, civilizations and theories based predominantly on archaeological anomolies these out of place ruins are not yet unexplained by academics.

Particularly interesting are the many ancient stone works not even presently reproducible and whose prevailing explanations strain credulity. Von Daniken explains how certain artifacts and monumental constructions required a more sophisticated technological ability in their construction than that which was available to the ancient cultures who constructed them.
