Having worked in St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Melbourne, Australia… as an X-Ray Orderly & Physiotherapy Assistant… in my early twenties… I experienced close-up… the pain, frustration and emotional trauma of amputees… as I walked side-by-side with them… each day… as part of their recovery physio. Many months of my childhood… and early teen years… were spent living in, and out, of hospitals… as a sick kid… with asthma, bronchitis, hay fever and eczema. Could have really used these H.R.
