It seemed strange but you could tell he really liked us and we treated him like we also liked him, which we did. He had a wonderful personality and was extremely likeable. (He was a minority, but I was raised God loves all colors and I haven't changed my mind about that.)

After we were there several months he started bringing us bags of groceries. We did not encourage this behavior AT ALL, but accepted very graciously as we knew he meant well and wouldn't have offended him for the world.

Well, this rather expensive complex sent out a notice one day to make sure your doors were locked because some apartments had been broken into and we all needed to be cautious.

A month or two later we got the word. This wonderful young man was taking the master key and then helping himself to the renters groceries... and yes, I am pretty darn sure that's where all of those bags of groceries came from.

Now, should you look down on me because of this? Here I was thanking The Lord that whoever was breaking into the apartments had left ours alone. Now I knew why..

So, moral of the story - how well does Newt know this man? Politicians meet hundreds of thousands of people and they can't possibly "know" them all. They have to be nice and treat them like a friend in order to get elected, etc. It's part of their job.

So, is this judging Newt without having enough proof? If Newt and he went to lunch and dinner every week of the year and had a very, very close relationship - well that could be questionable. Otherwise, let's try to give the person the benefit of a doubt unless the evidence is overwhelming.

I still don't know if there is a big connection and don't think there is anything wrong with knowing who are all of the donors, etc. If you say they are a lot closer than I am aware of, not going to question you. Santorium doesn't appear to stand a chance and it doesn't look good for us for the next 5 or so years the way it stands now...

We can easily see the Elite do not want Ron Paul. That tells us we should want him because he is not in their camp. But as to how this is going to turn out I really don't know... I know most think BO is in again without even really trying.

This couple, for whatever reason, want Newt to get the nomination. I think that is their right and I'm not reading much into this even though I feel sure you think I should. They have to want someone and I'm not going to judge their reason for wanting Newt.
