Most people are hoping for a better future and there is nothing wrong with that.

However ZAP has no scruples and is not ashamed of taking blatant advantage of those people.

For the past 5 years, he has been "selling" what is commonly known as "hopium" which is just as addictive as any other drug.

The difference with other drug pushers is, at least these people receive something in exchange.
With ZAP ?
Nada, zilch, nothing, he just takes their money.....

Actually, Jerzy does have a connection to drugs.

I believe ZAP is an opium user and his addiction is out of control. Hence, the constant need to beg for cash.
