An ancient wonder, which undoubtedly possesses some of the most striking demonstrations, of the power of nature. It is an ancient city located near modern Naples, in the Campania region of Italy. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum, and many other small settlements within the surrounding area, was rapidly buried under several metres of volcanic ash, in an eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79. Many of its inhabitants meeting an untimely demise, consumed by a pyroclastic cloud, subsequently becoming incinerated where they stood, sat or lay. These inhabitants, becoming a virtual time capsule of ancient roman life, allowing many fields of study to explore, in depth, the lives in which these people once lived. However, although academia claim that this ancient city, was constructed by these same individuals, it possesses a number of intriguing anomalies, which strongly indicate a far greater age, and indeed, far more technologically capable original builder, to that of which is currently attested. The city was lost as a result of this event, remaining submerged within the ash, until its rediscovery in 1599. With thorough archaeological explorations, not undertaken until 1748, by Spanish engineer Rocque Joaquin de Alcubierre. Eventually, in an attempt to preserve the astounding detail, incapsulated within the city, liquid plaster was poured into voids, which were once human and animal residents, revealing gruesome, yet unquestionably remarkable images of their last moments. However, within this exquisitely preserved cityscape, there exists unexplainable features, which to us, strongly suggests that Pompeii, was originally constructed by a group now lost to history. One such anomaly, is the polygonal roadways which twist and turn throughout the city. This form of masonry is a form of lost knowledge, and is clearly of a tremendous age. Stone blocks were also installed into these perfectly constructed roadways, forcing carts and other wheeled vehicles, through at specific lines of travel, as such, the stones in these areas have been worn down, creating deep ruts. This artificial erosion of the stonework, was clearly created over countless millennia of heavy use, and we believe, had more than likely began to form, far before the Pompeiians began to use the roads themselves. Additionally, like much of ancient Peru, shrugged off by academics with the title of pre-Incan, the city was also originally built with highly advanced, sewage and sanitation systems. These ancient pipes, were created using lead cast from liquid metal, then masterfully installed beneath the roadways. Worryingly, regardless of the level of advancement discovered within these undertakings, academia continues to claim that they were merely created by Romans, this we feel, is argued out of necessity, in complete denial of the reality, that water supply systems present within Pompeii, are so advanced, no one invented or constructed anything better until the 1800s. Additionally, this academic explanation deliberately disregards the fact, that such an astounding network of pipe systems, are also not present at any of the truly authentic roman ruins, anywhere else on earth. We feel, that although many of the ancient artefacts found within the city, are dated to the roman era, the underlying structure, the city plan, and the ancient advanced methods used in its creation, are unquestionably indicative of lost civilisation, regardless of what academia naively claims.
