Ben Swann has being doing research on the Newsletter issue and has got to the bottom of a long sought out issue regarding who wrote the most inflammatory piece in a special edition, which it appears was the only one, in 20 years and around 240 editions that had a by-line by another author.
When TNR's James Kirchick made the story public, it seems he hid that by-line on the most offensive article, about the Rodney King riots, so as to infer that Ron Paul had written them.
This may be more good news than bad as it may prove that others were writing, at least the worst of the content, and that earlier expose's had twisted the evidence.
For what it's worth, I've read Lew Rockwell, the man who it appears was in charge of producing the newsletter during the time in question, for many years and while he's not the calm headed political type Ron Paul is, he's a genius and a man with not an ounce of racist intent. He's written hundreds and published thousands of articles online in the last 13 years, a great many of which I've read, and if he's a racist, he sure is hopeless at conveying that message to his readers. Any one with common sense and who has studied him or Ron Paul know's they are men who seek to learn and seek to educate in the cause of liberty for all, whatever creed, race or color.
