This powerful full Moon prompts me to share another perspective.

It was the eve before the Full Moon ceremony. It was cold, rainy, and
very windy. In fact it been that way for many days. Snowy Owl and
Shooting Star knew the Star Temple would not give them any protection
from the elements and so decided to visit the Shaman’s cave to ask for
advice on how to hear the message from Sister Moon.
The sisters entered the cave and the Wise One greeted them inviting
them to sit by the fire that was radiating warmth. Immediately they felt
the chill that the cold and rain had created disappear. The Shaman then
spoke. “Sister Moon tells me that in the far away time the two leggeds
are being given the opportunity to identify what is of true value in
their living. Along the eastern coast of Turtle Island there is a very
large storm with fierce winds and heavy rains that is about to flood
their cities and land. They must decide what is really important as they
seek shelter. The storm is a symbol of needing to release the old way and embrace the new. That is what this Full Moon is asking.”
The Shaman invited Snowy Owl and Shooting Star to stay by the fire
and keep warm. As they did, they each thought about what was of true
value in their own lives. They both knew it was their spiritual path and
Soul gifts to share with the world that was of most importance. They
silently thanked Sister Moon for the reminder.
Here on the east coast of North America on the eve of this Full Moon
we have a very large Hurricane called Sandy about to make landfall at
New York City and veer left reaching Ontario, where I live, by Oct
30/31. A Halloween trick or a message from Creator and Great Mystery
that the two leggeds need to identify what is really important? Weather
forecasters are calling this a frankenstorm (a pun for sure given this
is Halloween) and even noting that the Full Moon will increase the tidal
surge. The energy in the air is extremely intense but that is the
nature of a Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon. This Lunation completes the
lessons we have been working on since the Taurus New Moon of Apr 21. The
theme has been to look at your life and decide what is of true value
and release what is not. It is called “cleaning out your closet”. Now is the time to let go of what no longer serves you on a physical, mental and emotional level.
We have a Scorpio Super New Moon Eclipse on Nov 13 that influences the
following six months. Do not take what is no longer of value into that
new cycle.
For our current Lunation the Moon at 06 Taurus 48 is ruled by Venus
at 01 Libra 33. She is in harmony with Mercury at 00 Sagittarius 28
telling us if we focus on our spiritual vision and Soul Purpose path
letting go of what no longer serves us can be easy. The ruler for the
Sun at 06 Scorpio 48 is Pluto at 07 Capricorn 23. He too is in
harmonious aspect with both the Moon and the Sun telling us letting go can be easy if we just do it and the result is true transformation.
Chiron, the wounded healer and problem solver, is also an important
player. He is at 05 Pisces 06 Rx getting ready to move direct on Nov 14
and is in harmony with Pluto (transformation) the Sun (identity) and
the Moon (Soul). You have a lot of support from Creator and Great Mystery to do the deep healing and set yourself free.
The Animal Totems that guide us at this Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon are
Snake (healing by shedding the old and transmuting into the new) for the
Sun in Scorpio and Beaver (clearing out the old to build the new) for
the Moon in Taurus. They really do work will together, Snake on the
spiritual plane, and Beaver, on the physical/emotional plane. Call on

us the opportunity to heal any issues of duality. While she is visiting

have the opportunity to practice listening to your intuition during this

EDT- Whatever was going on earlier today can now be balanced as long as

ignored your inner voice yesterday you will encounter the same issues
early today. They may become more challenging with the aspects coming
up. Venus in Libra inconjunct Chiron in Pisces- 1.21pm EDT- Venus in Libra opposite Uranus in Aries- 6.05pm
EDT- Venus is the planet of love and harmony but these influences are
anything but if you are in resistance. There is an opportunity for
healing and breakthrough if you are responsive. We are still in the
Libra Moon cycle of healing the heart. Moon in Gemini conjunct Jupiter in Gemini- 9.18pm
EDT- This aspect can be considered a blessing for it allows you to
connect with your higher consciousness. When that happens you are in the
flow of the Universe where all is in balance.
Moon in Gemini opposite Mars in Sagittarius- Nov 02- 5.21am
EDT- This continues the theme of balancing your thinking by listening to
your intuition. Oppositions are always about integration. Gemini Disseminating Moon- 7.30pm
EDT to Nov 06- 7.36pm EST- Most of us have been creating our new life
story since the May 20, 2012 Gemini New Moon Eclipse. The gift at that
Eclipse was “a new dimension of reality is perceived”. This
Disseminating phase is about sharing your new story and the knowledge
and wisdom you have gained over the past 5 months. Others will benefit
from your experience and be inspired to create their new story.
Moon enters Cancer- Nov 03- 3.43am EDT- When the Moon enters
her home sign the focus is on mastering the emotions. It is also about
listening to your intuition as it is very strong under this influence. Moon in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces- 4.29am EDT- trine Saturn in Scorpio- 10.43am EDT- These two aspects are offering support for anchoring your spiritual vision and Soul Purpose path. EDT- This aspect will create an issue between mind and emotions. Listen
to your intuition when making decisions and think carefully before

Daylight Savings time ends- Nov 04- 2.00am EST- It usually
takes a day or two to adjust to the time change so be patient with
yourself. At least this change gives you back the hour lost in the
spring if you live where Daylight time is observed. Moon in Cancer trine Sun in Scorpio- 3.37am
EST- This is a pleasant aspect that will influence you until this
evening. Both these water signs are very intuitive so let your inner
wisdom be your guide as you experience to day’s events. Choose ease and
flow for that is what the trine offers. Moon in Cancer inconjunct Mars in Sagittarius- 8.54pm
EST-This aspect is like hiccups. You just have to wait until they stop
and they do stop. Don’t make any major decisions with this inconjunct.
Wait for the Leo Moon tomorrow.
Moon enters Leo- Nov 05- 2.39pm EST- When the Moon visits Leo you have support to express your creative passion with courage and determination. Moon in Leo aspects- 3.22pm
to 10.57pm EST- Initially you may experience some uncertainty and
challenges to your creative endeavors but that should clear to some
degree when the Moon trines Mercury the last aspect this evening. We say
“to some degree” because Mercury goes retrograde tomorrow. Use the
retrograde to renew your connection to your creative energy. Things will
manifest in Mid-Dec when Mercury clears his shadow.
Sun in Scorpio inconjunct Jupiter in Gemini- Nov 06- 9.56am
EST- This aspect will interfere with your creative expression and make
you wonder if you are heading in the right direction. This is a preview
of the Mercury retrograde journey beginning later today. Moon in Leo sextile Venus in Libra- 12.14pm
EST- Use this aspect to create harmony in your relationships. Usually
it would also be good for creativity but as we mentioned Mercury is
going on his backward journey and the theme is realign, re-adjust, and
review.
Mercury in Sagittarius turns retrograde- Nov 06- 6.04pm EST-
The theme for this retrograde is truth or dogma. The planet of the mind
was still in Scorpio, (identifying what we want to release) when he
entered his retrograde shadow on Oct 18. But he entered Sagittarius
(truth or dogma) on Oct 29 at 2.18am EDT. Our focus during this backward
journey is trying to identify what we really believe and what is true.
This is Election Day in the US. Remember this Mercury Rx emphasises
truth or dogma. It will be interesting to see the effect the messenger’s
backward journey has on the vote. The last time Mercury was retrograde
on Election Day was the year 2000 and he did have an impact then so we
will just have to wait and see what transpires this time.
Mercury Rx re-enters Scorpio on Nov 14 (getting ready to release what
no longer serves us) and moves in direct motion on Nov 26 at 5.48pm
EST. He re-enters Sagittarius (truth or dogma) on Dec 10 at 8.40pm EST
and clears his retrograde shadow on Dec 14.
Make sure you do not begin anything new during the retrograde as it
is advised you revise, re-evaluate, re-adjust, and review where your
focus is. This includes relationship interactions and the creative
expression that was activated when the Moon entered Leo on Nov 05. And
as always when Mercury is in his retrograde period be very aware of your
thoughts and projections. When driving this is particularly important
as accidents increase when Mercury is retrograde. He rules travel by
automobile.

EST-Again this aspect would usually be good for expansion and growth of
your creative ideas but not with the planet of the mind in backward
motion. Use this activation to connect with your Soul’s guidance and
wisdom. Leo Fourth Quarter Moon- 7.36pm EST to Nov 10- 10.48am
EST- This is the realignment and revision phase and works well with
Mercury’s backward journey. Ask your compassionate heart to guide you as
you identify what no longer serves you and prepare to release that at
the Balsamic phase of Nov 10 to 13.
Moon in Leo trine Mars in Sagittarius- Nov 07- 10.27am EST-
Usually this aspect would support outer action but with Mercury
retrograde it is better to focus within and concentrate on your
spiritual path and where you want to go when Mercury clears his shadow

Moon’s Soul Centered home. The theme is mind, body, and spirit healing.
We are still in the Moon cycle of healing our broken hearts so our

activating the energy of healing. It will be an up and down day but at

relationship if you insist on being “right”. In the eyes of Creator and

Scorpio Super New Moon Eclipse- Nov 13- 5.09pm EST- This
continues yesterday’s theme of deep healing and release. Because this is
a Super Moon expect some pretty intense emotional issue to come
forward. This is actual good news for this Lunation is a total solar
eclipse and activates the lessons for the next six months. Identify what
is of true value and importance and let the rest go. The Animal Totem
who guides us is Snake, shedding the old. Mercury Rx in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces- 7.02pm
EST- This aspect will help you with knowing what you are ready to
release. It is challenging but only if you resist letting go. A square
asks us to find new ways of doing things. This is very appropriate as
this Scorpio New Moon is about transforming our deepest self. Mercury
retrogrades back into Scorpio tomorrow at 2.42am and Chiron moves direct
at 3.37pm supporting the transformational process.

Moon in Taurus is blessing us with her radiant light. The Archangels

Moon in Aries inconjunct Mercury in Scorpio- Oct 29- 2.15am
EDT- This early morning aspect (EDT) will stir up issues that you have
tried to bury. Be aware what you suppress will come back to haunt you so
best to deal with the situation now. Moon enters Taurus- 2.15am
EDT- We now have the opportunity to define what is of true importance in
our relationships and become empowered as we value ourselves as much as
we do others. Mercury enters Sagittarius- 2.18am EDT- Because
the planet of the mind retrogrades on Nov 06 he will be visiting
Sagittarius, off and on, until Dec 31. The focus is your spiritual
vision and Soul Purpose Path. See our note for Nov 06 for more insight. Mercury in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces- 1.40pm
EDT-This aspect will bring up issues around truth. Since the Full Moon
is happening in a couple of hours expect whatever issue comes up to be
intense. Stay centered within and you will find your power and be able
to deal with whatever is occurring in a balanced way.
Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon- Oct 29- 3.51pm EDT to Nov 02- 7.30pm
EDT- This Full Moon completes the lessons we have been working on since
the Taurus New Moon of Apr 21. The theme has been to look at your life
and decide what is of true value and release what is not. It is called
“cleaning out your closet”. Now is the time to let go of what no longer
serves you. Moon in Taurus trine Pluto in Capricorn- 5.01pm
EDT-This is the perfect time to release the old and make space for the
new. Whatever you have been working on healing for the last six months
can now be completed while the Sun visits Scorpio until Nov 21.
Sun in Scorpio sextile Pluto in Capricorn- Oct 30- 6.30am EDT-
This continues the theme of letting go. While the Sun (ego) travels
through Scorpio (deep healing) the planetary ruler is Pluto
(transformation). This is a wonderful aspect that supports you as you
release what no longer serves you. Moon in Taurus inconjunct Mars in Sagittarius- 12.20pm
EDT- With this aspect you may encounter others who are stubbornly
hanging onto beliefs that are not true and who try to sway you to accept
their doctrine. Be true to what you value and continue to release what
no longer serves you. This aspect will be in effect until the Moon
enters Gemini tomorrow.
Moon enters Gemini- Oct 31- 2.40pm EDT- Sister Moon now gives
us the opportunity to heal any issues of duality. While she is visiting
Gemini the focus is on balancing the logical mind by listening to inner
knowing. Moon in Gemini aspects- 3.28pm to 9.04pm EDT- You will
have the opportunity to practice listening to your intuition during this
time frame. The theme is what is really true. There are some challenges
as the Moon encounters Neptune (illusion) Mercury (logical thinking)
and Saturn (blocks). Moon in Gemini trine Venus in Libra- 11.33pm
EDT- Whatever was going on earlier today can now be balanced as long as
you listen to the truth of your inner voice. It is your Soul speaking
to you.
Moon in Gemini aspects- Nov 01- 12.59am to 10.08am EDT- If you
ignored your inner voice yesterday you will encounter the same issues
early today. They may become more challenging with the aspects coming
up. Venus in Libra inconjunct Chiron in Pisces- 1.21pm EDT- Venus in Libra opposite Uranus in Aries- 6.05pm
EDT- Venus is the planet of love and harmony but these influences are
anything but if you are in resistance. There is an opportunity for
healing and breakthrough if you are responsive. We are still in the
Libra Moon cycle of healing the heart. Moon in Gemini conjunct Jupiter in Gemini- 9.18pm
EDT- This aspect can be considered a blessing for it allows you to
connect with your higher consciousness. When that happens you are in the
flow of the Universe where all is in balance.
Moon in Gemini opposite Mars in Sagittarius- Nov 02- 5.21am
EDT- This continues the theme of balancing your thinking by listening to
your intuition. Oppositions are always about integration. Gemini Disseminating Moon- 7.30pm
EDT to Nov 06- 7.36pm EST- Most of us have been creating our new life
story since the May 20, 2012 Gemini New Moon Eclipse. The gift at that
Eclipse was “a new dimension of reality is perceived”. This
Disseminating phase is about sharing your new story and the knowledge
and wisdom you have gained over the past 5 months. Others will benefit
from your experience and be inspired to create their new story.
Moon enters Cancer- Nov 03- 3.43am EDT- When the Moon enters
her home sign the focus is on mastering the emotions. It is also about
listening to your intuition as it is very strong under this influence. Moon in Cancer trine Neptune in Pisces- 4.29am EDT- trine Saturn in Scorpio- 10.43am EDT- These two aspects are offering support for anchoring your spiritual vision and Soul Purpose path. Moon in Cancer inconjunct Mercury in Sagittarius- 10.56am
EDT- This aspect will create an issue between mind and emotions. Listen
to your intuition when making decisions and think carefully before
expressing your thoughts. Venus in Libra square Pluto in Capricorn- 1.27pm EDT- Moon in Cancer trine Chiron in Pisces- 1.55pm EDT- square Uranus in Aries- 2.20pm EDT- opposite Pluto in Capricorn- 6.54pm EDT- square Venus in Libra- 7.31pm
EDT- All these aspects except Moon/Chiron are challenging. Use the
rest of today, beginning with Venus square Pluto, to do inner work. As
we mentioned the Moon in Cancer is about mastering the emotions. But it
is also about stepping onto the Mystical Path. Emotional angst will
prevent you from doing that.
Daylight Savings time ends- Nov 04- 2.00am EST- It usually
takes a day or two to adjust to the time change so be patient with
yourself. At least this change gives you back the hour lost in the
spring if you live where Daylight time is observed. Moon in Cancer trine Sun in Scorpio- 3.37am
EST- This is a pleasant aspect that will influence you until this
evening. Both these water signs are very intuitive so let your inner
wisdom be your guide as you experience to day’s events. Choose ease and
flow for that is what the trine offers. Moon in Cancer inconjunct Mars in Sagittarius- 8.54pm
EST-This aspect is like hiccups. You just have to wait until they stop
and they do stop. Don’t make any major decisions with this inconjunct.
Wait for the Leo Moon tomorrow.
Moon enters Leo- Nov 05- 2.39pm EST- When the Moon visits Leo you have support to express your creative passion with courage and determination. Moon in Leo aspects- 3.22pm
to 10.57pm EST- Initially you may experience some uncertainty and
challenges to your creative endeavors but that should clear to some
degree when the Moon trines Mercury the last aspect this evening. We say
“to some degree” because Mercury goes retrograde tomorrow. Use the
retrograde to renew your connection to your creative energy. Things will
manifest in Mid-Dec when Mercury clears his shadow.
Sun in Scorpio inconjunct Jupiter in Gemini- Nov 06- 9.56am
EST- This aspect will interfere with your creative expression and make
you wonder if you are heading in the right direction. This is a preview
of the Mercury retrograde journey beginning later today. Moon in Leo sextile Venus in Libra- 12.14pm
EST- Use this aspect to create harmony in your relationships. Usually
it would also be good for creativity but as we mentioned Mercury is
going on his backward journey and the theme is realign, re-adjust, and
review.
Mercury in Sagittarius turns retrograde- Nov 06- 6.04pm EST-
The theme for this retrograde is truth or dogma. The planet of the mind
was still in Scorpio, (identifying what we want to release) when he
entered his retrograde shadow on Oct 18. But he entered Sagittarius
(truth or dogma) on Oct 29 at 2.18am EDT. Our focus during this backward
journey is trying to identify what we really believe and what is true.
This is Election Day in the US. Remember this Mercury Rx emphasises
truth or dogma. It will be interesting to see the effect the messenger’s
backward journey has on the vote. The last time Mercury was retrograde
on Election Day was the year 2000 and he did have an impact then so we
will just have to wait and see what transpires this time.
Mercury Rx re-enters Scorpio on Nov 14 (getting ready to release what
no longer serves us) and moves in direct motion on Nov 26 at 5.48pm
EST. He re-enters Sagittarius (truth or dogma) on Dec 10 at 8.40pm EST
and clears his retrograde shadow on Dec 14.
Make sure you do not begin anything new during the retrograde as it
is advised you revise, re-evaluate, re-adjust, and review where your
focus is. This includes relationship interactions and the creative
expression that was activated when the Moon entered Leo on Nov 05. And
as always when Mercury is in his retrograde period be very aware of your
thoughts and projections. When driving this is particularly important
as accidents increase when Mercury is retrograde. He rules travel by
automobile.
All we can say is it should be an interesting journey.
Moon in Leo sextile Jupiter in Gemini- Nov 06- 6.45pm
EST-Again this aspect would usually be good for expansion and growth of
your creative ideas but not with the planet of the mind in backward
motion. Use this activation to connect with your Soul’s guidance and
wisdom. Leo Fourth Quarter Moon- 7.36pm EST to Nov 10- 10.48am
EST- This is the realignment and revision phase and works well with
Mercury’s backward journey. Ask your compassionate heart to guide you as
you identify what no longer serves you and prepare to release that at
the Balsamic phase of Nov 10 to 13.
Moon in Leo trine Mars in Sagittarius- Nov 07- 10.27am EST-
Usually this aspect would support outer action but with Mercury
retrograde it is better to focus within and concentrate on your
spiritual path and where you want to go when Mercury clears his shadow
on Dec 14. Moon enters Virgo- 11.35pm EST- We now enter the
Moon’s Soul Centered home. The theme is mind, body, and spirit healing.
We are still in the Moon cycle of healing our broken hearts so our
spirits can come fully alive. Tomorrow Nov 08 continues this focus as
the only aspects to the other planets is how the Moon in Virgo is
activating the energy of healing. It will be an up and down day but at
1.25pm EST the Moon will trine Pluto and transformation can be easy if
you are willing to let go of what no longer serves you.
Moon in Virgo square Jupiter in Gemini- Nov 09- 1.23am EST- Venus in Libra trine Jupiter in Gemini- 2.26am EST- Moon in Virgo sextile Sun in Scorpio- 6.57am
EST- The early Moon challenge to Jupiter will ease with Venus and the
Sun aspects. If you are in the dreamtime pay attention to the messages
you receive. They are saying it is time to let go of the need for
perfection. You are perfect exactly as you are. Moon in Virgo square Mars in Sagittarius- 7.27pm
EST- This can create some challenges when it come to truth in
relationship if you insist on being “right”. In the eyes of Creator and
Great Mystery all is in right order if you are working with your
creation energy. Do not waste it on arguments that do not mean anything
in the overall picture.
Moon enters Libra- Nov 10- 4.35am EST- inconjunct Neptune in Pisces- 5.12am EST- sextile Mercury Rx in Sagittarius- 10.06am
EST-The Moon in Libra asks us to focus on balance, harmony, and peace
in all our relationships, particularly the one to self. The inconjunct
to Neptune may bring up some confusion about how to do that but the
sextile to Mercury Rx says if you look deeply enough you will find the
answer.
Libra Balsamic Moon- Nov 10- 10.48am EST to Nov 13- 5.09pm EST- Moon in Libra inconjunct Chiron in Pisces- 1.02pm EST- opposite Uranus in Aries- 1.08pm EST- square Pluto in Capricorn- 5.33pm
EST- This Balsamic Phase completes the lessons we have been working on
since the Libra New Moon of Sept 15. The theme has been to heal our
broken hearts so our spirits can become whole. Today is a test for how
well you have accomplished that. All these Moon aspects are supporting
you to heal, forgive, release, complete, and experience transformation.
Neptune in Pisces moves direct- Nov 11- 2.52am EST- Neptune
has been retrograde since June 04, 2012. The theme has been what is
true, what is not true, what can never be true. While he is travelling
through Pisces we have the opportunity to move from illusion into
illumination. He will be in Pisces until March 2025 so this is just the
beginning of that journey. For our current Neptune activation we have
the opportunity to heal, forgive, complete, and release whatever blocks
us from our spiritual journey from now until March 2013. Creator and
Great Mystery are giving us lots of time to do the work. Moon in Libra trine Jupiter in Gemini- 4.13am EST- conjunct Venus in Libra- 9.12
am EST- These two aspects are blessing our Libra New Moon cycle (Sept
15) of healing the heart. This is particularly true if you have been
having relationship challenges. Be open to the harmony and peace and
your spirit will heal.
Moon enters Scorpio- Nov 12- 6.10am EST- trine Neptune in Pisces- 6.45am EST- conjunct Saturn in Scorpio- 1.28pm EST- trine Chiron in Pisces- 2.10pm EST- inconjunct Uranus in Aries- 2.12pm EST- sextile Pluto in Capricorn- 6.34pm
EST- When Sister Moon visits Scorpio we have the chance to do deep
healing and release. The energy also requires we be completely honest
with ourselves. The Moon’s interaction with the other planets today
totally supports this deep healing. Our guide is Snake, the medicine of
shedding the old and being reborn.
Scorpio Super New Moon Eclipse- Nov 13- 5.09pm EST- This
continues yesterday’s theme of deep healing and release. Because this is
a Super Moon expect some pretty intense emotional issue to come
forward. This is actual good news for this Lunation is a total solar
eclipse and activates the lessons for the next six months. Identify what
is of true value and importance and let the rest go. The Animal Totem
who guides us is Snake, shedding the old. Mercury Rx in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces- 7.02pm
EST- This aspect will help you with knowing what you are ready to
release. It is challenging but only if you resist letting go. A square
asks us to find new ways of doing things. This is very appropriate as
this Scorpio New Moon is about transforming our deepest self. Mercury
retrogrades back into Scorpio tomorrow at 2.42am and Chiron moves direct
at 3.37pm supporting the transformational process.
