MILITARY FRAUD ON OUR SENIORS
This is beyond repulsive.
Recently, a Grandmother received a phone call stating that her Grandson, who is a member of our military, was arrested and that she needed to immediately “wire” $3,500.00 to an account to get him out of jail. She hesitated. Thankfully, she did not buy into this scam as she knew it was a fraud. Instead she called us. We gave this priority and took care of business.
This Grandmother was not a victim of another fraud upon seniors and we gave her advice on how to avoid this scam.
To those who have received a phone call like this Grandmother, please listen with caution. Do not provide any personal information … date of birth … social security number, etc. There are many hidden dangers if you provide this information.
