Solar wind speed is expected to remain in the 600-700 km/s range on 28-29 Sep and slowly decrease on 30 Sep. Geospace Forecast ... The geomagnetic field is expected to reach G1-G2 (Minor Moderate) geomagnetic storm levels on 28 Sep and G1 (Minor) levels on 29 Sep as CH HSS effects persist. Quiet to active levels are expected on 30 Sep as activity slowly diminishes. Aurora sky watchers from middle to high latitudes should be alert this weekend.
