In 2008, I met a woman in Sante Fe who worked for the Washington Post. She was an investigative journalist who was there to dig into a case of child theft allegations. Long story short, in a divorce case a woman had claimed her 2 adopted daughters were kidnapped by a Mormon group at the request of her husband. She claimed you can order your children by bloodline and her daughters were of a specific Samoan bloodline. I went to the court to see the case but they closed out all public. Shortly after we left the court we were harassed by a couple of guys. That night all of her stuff, laptop etc was stolen. A few days later, she was threatened and left the country. She is still in hiding.
