The coronavirus pandemic is becoming the butt of many jokes, and so is Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Fauci shot to stardom as the world shut down and braced for what he described as the deadliest global pandemic ever.
But Dr. Fauci continues to get caught in lies, and the most recent one has the public really scratching their heads.
Vaccinations have been a hot-button issue in the U.S. for years, but the COVID vaccine seems to have brought the debate to its boiling point.
Millions of Americans are still unsure of the vaccine and suspicious of the fact that it was pushed through so quickly.
And it doesn’t help that Dr. Fauci spent months after getting vaccinated parading around in multiple masks.
If the vaccine works, why is he still wearing masks?
After immense pressure from the Right and, actually, some on the Left, Fauci was forced to admit he was wearing the mask for show and nothing more.
Apparently, Fauci believed that his wearing of a mask made some people feel better.
Leave it to Fauci to confirm, without trying to confirm, what many have believed for a while – masks are just theater.
But Fauci’s lies don’t stop at masks.
Now the doctor is telling Americans they will need another vaccine booster shot in a year.
“I think we will almost certainly require a booster sometime within a year or so, after getting the primary [shot], because the durability of protection against coronaviruses is generally not lifelong,” Dr. Fauci told Axios.
Americans who have no confidence in the vaccine are only being given more reasons not to trust it.
The constant mixed messages on things like masks or possibly needing vaccine boosters will not have already skeptical Americans lining up to get the vaccine.
Americans are sick and tired of Fauci’s habit of speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
These are lives he’s dealing with, so to continually give different and confusing messages only strengthens the argument by many that this whole thing is nothing more than a sham.
