Twitter erupted after Joe Biden made a ridiculous comment about the high gas prices harming California residents.
A reporter asked him, “have you seen gas prices around here in LA? It’s almost $7 bucks a gallon. Biden claimed California has always had $7/gallon gas prices. In an attempt to completely ignore the reality of his harmful policies’ impact on gas prices, he incoherently began talking about housing,
“Well, that’s always been the case here,” Biden replied. “You know, it’s not — what — nationwide, [gas prices] came down about $1.35, and they’re still down over a dollar. But we’re going to work on, housing is big, is the most important thing we have to do in terms of that.”

Joe Biden said the other day that “it’s always been the case” that gas in LA is $7 per gallon. The average gas price in LA has never been $7 and was $3.15 when Trump left office.
