Pfizer plans to apply for approval of its RSV vaccine by year's end, in hopes a vaccine could be available before next year's respiratory-illness season.

RSV effects 97% of children by age 2. It has a 99.9976% survival rate. There is no need for a vaccine for it. Yet Pfizer has decided that RSV can serve as a revenue stream, & they've created a maternal "vaccine" for it. They will submit it to the FDA for approval by EOY.

Huge news for the babies! Pfizer’s bivalent RSV vaccine has demonstrated amazing efficacy (81.8% against severe lower respiratory illness). This was well tolerated and with results meeting criteria, Pfizer has stopped enrollment and will plan to submit by end of 2022!
