Appreciation…

I’ve been thinking quite a bit lately about where we are going and how we get there. I am sure many of you who have been here a while know how I like to figure out core issues to problems. We can look at something and see an overall problem and think on it forever or we can spend time dissecting it and looking for the core issue and eradicate that. This comes I suppose because I do EFT and in EFT if you can find the core issue to tap on, all your other issues will fall away after the core issue is resolved. This is how I look at life and it certainly helps to get to the heart of any matter more quickly. I have always thought awareness was a key issue for us to keep in mind and be aware of, but I also think appreciation is one as well, especially our appreciation of choice! Our whole life is one massive choice but how deeply do we honor and appreciate the fact we have choice?
Honoring and appreciating what we have is our way of showing our respect to life and we should not be taking life’s moments for granted. I mean stop and think for a brief moment what life would be like without choice! To honor and appreciate choice we need to exercise our freedom to choose by consciously thinking about our choices and always choosing the one that betters the whole of life and not just ourselves. Make the CHOICE to always take the time needed to be consciously aware of your choices, be grateful for the freedom choices bring to your life and honor them by always choosing what is best. It is only a matter of viewing life differently that helps to create change for the world. Choose to take the time to see your life differently and act accordingly.
Imagine the state of the world if everyone took the time to honor their lives and their choices, and always chose what they knew would be best for the whole of mankind and not just themselves. When you look at life this way you begin to understand how indeed changing ourselves ultimately change the world, and the more people doing this the faster the changes occur. That good old Hundredth Monkey scenario. A world filled with people appreciating life and its choices as a whole would be quite spectacular. For every person who chooses to change in this way, there will always be at least one other person they know who will decide to live their life this way as well and so the numbers multiply.
Life is sacred and we need to be living our lives in a sacred manner by honoring and also appreciating all that we have by the choices we make. This action creates meaning to life and life with more meaning is a life well lived. Far too many people today are living lives with little or no meaning hence all the despair and anger and violence. It is all fixable if we deal with the core issues and fix them and then everything else in the outer periphery will heal as well. It is not the Pharmaceutical drugs or video games that are causing the violence and killing. If you look for the core issue, it is the fact that life no longer has meaning and we are adrift with no direction and no reasons for what we are doing. Find the core issue to anything and fix it and everything else will always fall into place beside it.
Blessings to us all,
