If one person is making an extraordinary claim it can be hard to believe. But one of the most intriguing aspects about the UFO phenomenon is the fact that there are literally hundreds of respected high-ranking military/intelligence people from around the world who have made similar claims.
What lends even more credibility to these testimonies, beyond the sheer number of them, is the evidence (photos, videos, radar tracking data etc) that’s now accessible within the public domain.
What’s questionable, however, is the fact that these testimonies remain mostly unacknowledged within the mainstream. Instead, governments now have a monopoly on information and are primed to explain the phenomenon “officially” to the public.
So far, these explanations seem to include a threat narrative, along with the general idea that these objects are explainable as foreign adversarial.

Gen. Nikolai T. Antoshkin, the commander of a dangerous helicopter firefighting operation in which he and other pilots braved radiation exposure to contain the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, passed away in 2021. He fought in several of the country’s wars and had a long military career.
During that career he made a brief appearance in a Russian documentary sharing his experiences with UFOs during his military career as a pilot. In that documentary he also expressed that these UFOs are from advanced civilizations who are, in some way we don’t quite understand, keeping tabs on our civilization to make sure we don’t completely destroy the planet.
He also emphasized that these objects are commonly observed near facilities where the situation is “unstable.” These include nuclear and chemical weapons facilities.
In 2012, then Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev actually referenced the documentary, stating that their government knows that we are being visited. Mainstream media outlets actually picked up on the story and claimed he was joking.
What makes his (Antoshkin) claims seem more credible is the fact that it’s a matter of public record that UFOs are commonly spotted near or within the vicinity of nuclear weapons facilities. '
In June 2021, Luis Elizondo, former director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program emphasized this fact in an interview with the Washington Post. He explained how it’s a global phenomenon, that these objects have interfered with and brought nuclear weapon launching capabilities completely offline.
We’re talking about the most secure and advanced military installations being “hacked” by these objects. In some cases, they’ve even initiated countdowns to launch.
There are a number of other examples as well. In 1967 military witnesses at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana saw a red, glowing UFO hovering just outside the front gate. After that happened, all of the nuclear missiles shut down and went completely dead.
A similar incident happened outside RAF Woodbridge in England in 1980, which was used at the time by the United States Air Force (USAF). USAF personnel, including deputy base commander Lieutenant Colonel Charles I. Halt described the incident, and the craft as a glowing metallic object that split into multiple objects. It eventually shined a beam upon the nuclear weapons that were stored at the base.
On October 4, 1982, eight unidentified objects were visually recorded over the command post of the 50th Division of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Carpathian Military District in Russia. In that incident, nuclear weapon launching capability went completely offline and a countdown to launch began. The countdown to launch was halted and all systems came back online as soon as the UFOs disappeared.
What is the message being sent here? Are we playing with fire? Or something else?
Antoshkin’s claim of their benevolent nature is also corroborated by many other high-ranking decorated military personnel throughout history. Colonel Ross Dedrickson of the US Air Force was assigned to the US Atomic Energy Commission and served with them from 1950-1958. His job dealt with administration duties at Nevada test sites, Pacific Nuclear Test Areas west of Hawaii, nuclear weapon manufacturing and quality assurance in Albuquerque, and inspection of nuclear and non-nuclear facilities throughout the country.
According to him, nuclear weapons that were sent into space “were destroyed by the extraterrestrials.” He claimed that their main concern is the preservation of our planet.” He also claimed that nuclear weapons sent to the moon for scientific measurements were also destroyed by extraterrestrials.
Haim Eshed, former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate was one of the latest to do the same a couple of years ago.
Antoshkin isn’t the only Russian general who has spoken out like this. Another example is General Leonid G. Ivashov, who is also the former President of the Academy for Geopolitical Problems. According to him,

What’s also interesting about Antoshkin’s claim is the fact that it corroborates with not only other high-ranking individuals, but many experiencers as well.
Where is ‘mainstream’ UFO disclosure headed?
I believe UFOs may become heavily associated with foreign adversarial objects, often blamed on other countries like China and Russia, for example. This will allow countries like the United States to increase and strengthen their already strong and authoritarian national security state and further progress their political agendas when it comes to relations with other countries.
Building more space-based weapons as well as increased surveillance measures on their own citizens may be a justification as well. Basically, a constant threat narrative will be in play.
Based on my research, what was really discovered was never accurately relayed and given to the public in a transparent way. It seemed to be more of an effort to debunk the phenomenon, a program designed to get people to stop asking questions and shut down the idea that any of it could be associated with any type of otherworldly explanation.
But perhaps I’m wrong. Maybe an otherworldly explanation will eventually go mainstream, and an unbalanced fear/threat narrative will dissipate. Or perhaps we are simply seeing Project Bluebook all over again in a different form.
I don’t know where “mainstream” UFO disclosure is going, but it’s concerning that hundreds of high-ranking “whistleblowers” have never ever been acknowledged, nor their stories shared publicly. And it’s concerning that governments and big media have such a strong record of using their influence to shape the perception of the masses with regard to various global phenomena. Why should we believe the topics of UFOs or “UAPs” as they are now termed, will be any different?

These individuals would know, because the military is tasked with studying these objects and these countries have been doing so for a while. For example, a document from more than 3 decades ago in the CIA’s electronic reading room outlines how the CIA was gathering intelligence on a joint effort between the USSR and the People’s Republic of China (PRC). Scientists from the USSR, as well as the PRC, initiated a joint study on UFOs.“Yes, surely aliens in one form or another and in one way or another are present on the planet Earth....But so far, the extraterrestrials have not caused any damage with their presence - no damage to earthlings, infrastructure, or any other living organisms on Earth, so to say that there is an alien threat, well, that probably doesn't correspond to reality.”
- Ivashov can be seeing saying this in a clip taken from Dr. Steven Greer’s recent film, “The Cosmic Hoax” at the one hour and fourteen minute mark.
I’d love to see these videos, wouldn’t you?“Scientists of the PRC and the Soviet Far East have begun joint study ofUFO’s. The first meeting of ufologists of the two countries has ended in the small maritime townlet of Dalnegorsk. The Soviet and Chinese specialists on anomalous phenomena have mapped out a program for investigating incidents that are already known and have also arranged to directly exchange video and photographic materials on new similar phenomena. Dalnegorsk has not been chosen by chance as the place for such acquaintance. In the last few years the number of cases of visual observation of UFO’s has noticeably increased there. In just the last four years alone no less than 10 UFO’s have been recorded. Specialists link their heightened interest in places here with the variety and wealth of useful minerals in Maritime Kray. Similar, incidents have also occurred in mountainous regions in China whose climatic conditions and natural landscape resemble our own.”

I believe we’ve seen this throughout history. In my opinion, the US government’s Project Bluebook, a decades-old program that investigated the UFO phenomenon from 1952-1969 did, in a sense, is the same thing.“Incursions by any airborne object into our SUA pose safety of flight and operations security concerns, and may pose national security challenges. DOD takes reports of incursions – by any airborne object, identified or unidentified – very seriously, and investigates each one.”
