What do people do when faced with a question? (1 of 2)
On July 2, 2023 By Ridzerd
It may be big or small questions. What do people do? They think about it, rack their brains and believe they must solve the question from the depths of their own thinking. Those who walk the path of knowledge do not do it that way. Goethe characterized it as he also indicated many other things as initiate. He said once: We are not called to solve the question, but first to set it up and wait for it to solve itself.
Don’t underestimate this way of solving questions! It works very powerfully. Try to ask the question very clearly but don’t think about the answer; think about the suitable means to solve the question.

What do people do when faced with a question? (2 of 2)

Let’s say, for example, that I am faced with the question of whether a person is guilty or innocent, whether he acted out of evil will or out of an innocent heart. If I think about it, I will not arrive at a correct judgement. But I will come to an answer when I look at his life, as far as it is accessible to me.
If I ask myself: What happened to him? How did he approach me? What did he speak to me? What did he spoke to other people? – So these are not answers, but questions that I have created for myself. They are to be considered.
If I do this in an active way and suppress the answer, then the image I create for myself gives the answer. I switch myself off, as it were. If you do this with all your willpower, switch yourself off, so that your self is not there, so that your thinking is suppressed. If you overcome yourself not to give yourself an answer, but go to sleep with the question prepared, you will have the experience that you will wake up in the morning with an answer that is much more correct and certain than the one that might have come to you in the evening. While your physical body was at rest, your spirit was disembodied and the means to answer the question came from the higher worlds.
It is advisable to have a pencil ready, for you must write down the answer as soon as you wake up in the morning. If you do not do this, you will forget it again, because you will be under quite different influences.
