"Before the throne of the Almighty, man will be judged not by his acts but by his intentions. For God alone reads our hearts." Mahatma Gandhi
Inward - The Light of Knowledge should radiate inward.
We often make that mistake, where we feel it is our duty to shine our knowledge outward towards the outer world. Our thoughts, more than anyone else's is more important to be expressed and received because it conveys a deeper meaning. The perception.
When we talk about our Knowledge and demonstrate to others the complexity of our ascension it invariably translates into an expression of our pride. We become a Petty Tyrant, because we want to feel validated for our advancement and praised for what we demonstrate to be True Virtues.
I often think about the core philosophy of what is called the Philosophy of Abundance - that we can have all of our wishes fulfilled through our intentions. Repeatedly I've demonstrated that there are costs to our actions and beliefs - and often we are demanding of others to sacrifice so that we can obtain. It is easy to be happy when we don't know the real cost to our Happiness. We don't have to look much further than our celebrities and see that they have brilliantly successful lives, with wealth, opportunities, fame and recognition and a higher quality of life.
Yet, they still turn to substance abuse, addiction, and depression. Most of their relationships fail, and they become estranged from themselves, and everyone in their lives... This shouldn't be the model of success...
Through recognizing the patterns, we can learn how to manipulate the outcome of events through our beliefs and actions. We can use the attractive power of intentions to manifest for us any level of wealth and happiness - but often times, when we look down the line after the event has passed, we lose ourselves, because the wish was never enough. What we thought we were intending and received doesn't reflect the true want of our hearts - because we lose ourselves in the manipulation of the glitter - if I can wish this and it happens, I can then wish for bigger things. We lose ourselves in this cycle of wishing and receiving that we lose track of what it was we were originally trying to attract to us.
There are trappings to power.
When there is a lack of sincerity and pureness to our intention, we will become lost in the trappings that we call the Four Enemies. Clarity, Knowledge, Power and Old Age. When we wish for clarity and receive it, we become boastful and proud. Clarity isn't enough, we want Knowledge. Knowing that the power is there, we want to be able to see it. Once we can see it, we want to be able to manipulate it, bend it to our wants and needs - this is Power. Once we've sacrificed our entire lives to achieve that power to manipulate the energies around us, we realize that we've grown old and the body is no longer able to support us - we die.
We burn through yet another life - and all we gained was some measure of power that allowed us to uplift our petty pride.
We never learn humility. We never learn thanksgiving. We never learn patience and acceptance. We never learn unconditional love - because we were too busy trying to create for ourselves a life that was wrapped in pettiness - of validation, of power, of attention, of affection...
There is no peace when one party is forced to make a sacrifice that the other party isn't willing to make themselves.
We want to talk about peace and beauty - but we hoard those descriptions, because we've learned, through a control of clarity and the benefit of knowledge, and the presence of power, but we failed to realize that I, the Self is not alone. We are a collective assembly of minds and hearts - and power must be apportioned equally. Any deviation to that balance and there's corruption - we, in that corruption, become boastful and proud. We undo everything we were trying to create - because we lost our innocence.
At the core of any wish there must be humility - humility expresses itself through unconditionality - true knowledge is arrived at when we realize that the Self has become everything. If I wish it for myself, I need to wish it for everything.
When we are unable to see that there is more to the cosmos than that which is visible, then we must expand our understanding before we make that wish.
On every level, there are trappings.
The remedy - every wish should be radiated inward. Feel the pulse of the self as being the pulse of Everything - Radiate your Knowledge Inward - give up every selfish propensity to demonstrate your Knowledge and clarity and power as an outward expression, and radiate it inward, through the heart, up through the spine and out through the One Eyes of our Forehead. Encompass all things. For every blessing you wish upon yourself, multiply it tenfold to those you call your enemies. For every person you judge and despise, wish them light and happiness and knowledge. Wish that their every path in their life is opened up to them so that they too can know the blessings of Love, of Divine Guidance. To every person that has done you wrong, wish them nothing but health, happiness and upliftment from their ignorance.
The wish for abundance shouldn't be a malignant act that consumes and corrupts. It must be an act of selflessness and an expression of unbounded joy.
I maintain that it is our descriptions that keep us limited. Challenge our descriptions and we will find true abundance - because abundance shouldn't be about the presence of things, but about the abundance of Knowledge, Clarity, Power, Equanimity, Thanksgiving, Patience, Humility, Love, Health, and Peace.
The good act is done not for the recognition of the result, but because it is the right thing to do, no matter the circumstances.
