Strange, alien-like jellyfish filmed for first time

Researchers have captured footage of a remarkable, previously unseen type of jellyfish deep beneath the sea.
Gliding through the gloom over 4.5 miles beneath the surface of the Indian Ocean, this incredible blue jelly almost looks like a balloon wafting on a gentle breeze as it slowly hovers in to view.
The video was recorded at the deepest point of the Java Trench where scientists at the Five Deeps Expedition have been exploring the uncharted depths with a special deep-sea submarine.
"It is not often we see something that is so extraordinary that it leaves us speechless," said chief scientist Dr. Alan Jamieson. "At this point we are not entirely sure what species it was."
The creature was filmed during the submarine's third successful trip to the bottom of the sea.
