Does coincidence exist? (1 of 2)

To speak of “coincidence” in the physical-sensory world is certainly not unjustified. And as surely the sentence, “There is no such thing as coincidence” is valid if all worlds are taken into account, so unjustified would it be to reject the word “coincidence” if it refers only to the concatenations of things in the physical- sensory world. Indeed, coincidence in the physical world is brought about by the fact that in this world things take place in sensory space.
They must, insofar as they take place in this space, also obey the laws of this space. In this space, however, external things can come together, which initially have nothing to do with each other internally. Just as my face is not really deformed because it looks deformed in an uneven mirror, just the same the causes that make a roof tile fall from the roof, which injures me – as I am just passing by – need not have anything to do with my karma from my past.
